![]() ChoLESStolife® is the industry's first all-natural, non-prescription Cholesterol Absorption Inhibitor (CAI). ChoLESStolife® is made from plant stanols found in soybeans, and Lecithin, a natural substance also found in soybeans, that enables cholesterol to be dispersed in water, then removed from the body. ChoLESStolife's proprietary formulation of stanols and Lecithin (US Patent Nos. 5,932,562 and 6,063,776) has been proven clinically effective in 10 human cholesterol absorption studies and 4 chronic cholesterol reduction studies. The studies, funded by a research grant from the National Institute of Health and supervised by the Human Studies Committee of a major Midwestern medical school, showed that ChoLESStolife® blocks cholesterol absorption in the small intestine up to 38% and reduces LDL-cholesterol in the blood up to 14%. [American Journal of Clinical Nutrition Article, Nov. 1999] ChoLESStolife® is designed to be taken as a dietary supplement and is currently available in tablet form. Individuals using ChoLESStolife to manage their cholesterol levels take two tablets immediately before their breakfast and two tablets immediately before dinner. The ChoLESStolife® approach provides individuals with a fat-free method of managing their cholesterol levels -- a significant improvement over existing oil-based strategies (margarines) that are more difficult to integrate into a healthy diet and increase an individual's caloric load. In addition, individuals reluctant to begin drug therapy because of concerns about long-term exposure to synthetic drugs will appreciate ChoLESStolife's non-pharmaceutical approach. Lifeline Technologies is currently selling ChoLESStolife® in one-month and three-month supply packages. Additionally, subscription plan members save even more. |
